Biological PTSD and Mental PTSD causes post hallucinations (visual, auditory, and of the body."Hallucinations" to follow PTSD exposure is not a psychiatric condition though it is often medicated as one by diagnostics and by using anti-psychotics as the attempted solution. People often stay on these prescriptions for years and often end up feeling flat-lined with respect to affect. Often, unintentionally, the prescribed psychiatric medications can contribute to depression. Veterans have been exposed to, and have experienced life and death situations whether in battle on land, water or air. Unlike civilians, they have been put into an environment of a different intensity, a different frequency, a different vibration. As a result of their experiences in combat, Veterans often have a different view of life and death. It is not uncommon for Veterans to experience difficulty relating to civilians who have not had their "rubber band" of life stretched to the limits. In my opinion, the amount of Adrenaline that is released within the body, while in battle will forever change an individual. (Not for the better, not for the worse). However, when forced to operate in a belief system of life and society, in which the individual has grown out of and no longer relates to due to his exposure to trauma, his emotions are affected because they are no longer attached to the same belief systems as before. There is a famous quote, As previously mentioned, when one experiences intense PTSD, she or he has walked, ridden and been exposed to the line of life and death. An ALTERNATIVE WAY, or a SPIRITUAL WAY to look at "hallucinations," in comparison to a pathologizing way to look at hallucinations would be for the individual to understand that s/he is connecting with the "other side." As each human being filters "the other side" (due to PTSD or innate connection) through ego-self so uniquely, it is often difficult to find words in which to communicate experiences to other human beings. It is hard to find new ways to establish connections. After one experiences PTSD, the same things are no longer funny. The same things that one used to enjoy, one no longer does. The same things one used to enjoy talking to others about, one no longer has interest. Due to the exposure of trauma - whether it be physical trauma (battle/childhood exposure to domestic violence) or mental trauma (abuse by spouse, law, person etc.), an individual's connection with reality has shifted. There are many realities beyond the "traditional reality" in which the majority of people share. Our human traditional reality revolves around fear of life and death. . . .and of course, procreation, creating happiness, achieving success etc. For those who have "Walked the Line" of life and death, whether it be physically or emotionally, their nervous systems have been altered. Due to the physical or mental trauma of PTSD exposure one has experienced in a single event, or over time, his/her Parasympathetic Nervous System and Sympathetic Nervous System reacts differently to both internal and external stimuli. The nervous systems' of those exposed to PTSD cannot be compared to the nervous systems of those who have never experienced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Prescribed psychiatric drugs are not only used in attempt to ameliorate PTSD symptoms, but often, the individual turns to self medication in the form of abusing drugs, again, in attempt to ameliorate PTSD symptoms. From an alternative therapeutic standpoint, it could be so amazing for individuals with PTSD (often resulting in depression and isolation) to be given the platform to explore their "Walk(ing) The Line" experiences from a spiritual perspective rather than a pathological band-aid approach. It is important to note, that all children come into this world, connected to the "other side" or to multiple realms of space and time. Due to human conditioning and programming, they are likely to disconnect from their knowings of Pure Universal Source Truth . . .or one may call God. They learn how to blend with this world and be as others are and as others want them to be. When this happens, Universal Source energy and knowings cease to flow through the body and mind. I mention this idea because PTSD, as horrible as it is, is an opportunity to re-visit the purity of knowing Universal Truth and connection to source, in a similar way that a baby is connected. Universal Truth is not good or bad. It can be spun through human ego in different directions of interpretation based on life experiences. Take a new route/root to recovery. Ibogaine plant medicine gives the body a "restart." It gives the body a "reset." Ibogaine works on a cellular level, a spiritual level, a mental level, a heart level, a connection level and more. The plant medicine Ibogaine allows for an individual to re-connect with source (God), filter it through the adult human ego, expunge the aspects of "conditioned belief systems and programming" that are not beneficial. It allows for the person to integrate experiences from the other side into this life experience and share with the world his true intended purpose. "Be all that you can Be" . . . . and BE HAPPY.
